The Highlands Whiskey Trail with the Lake District

There can be no touring in Scotland without a wee dram of Whiskey – in fact in our suggested programme you can visit as many as seven well known distillers such as the Glenfiddich, Macallan and the not so well-known but really nice ones such as the Ben Nevis distillery.  Visit fabulous castles, cathedrals and the highly recommended Cairbgorm Mountain railway. Of course no visit to Scotland can be complete with a visit to Loch Ness. Complete your holiday by a two night visit to the enchanting Lake district.

In a form of bonus if you were to travel in late autumn / early winter to northern Scotland, you may just see the Northern Lights – also known as the dancing lights. A once in a lifetime spectacle !
