Athens has been a beacon for travellers for centuries past, even as it is today. An ideal 10 day tour would be to arrive Athens and see the famous sights at Acropolis and Parthenon before visiting  the famous islands of  Cyclades – Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, and Naxos.  This is where the party quotient can be upped to your liking OR just slip away to one of the quieter and smaller islands.
